Shehr e muhabbat, hijr ka mausam, ehd e wafa aur mein Tu to is basti se khush khush chala gaya, aur mein ?? Tu jo na ho to jaise sub ko chup lag jaati hai Aapis mein kya baatein karte raat, diya aur mein Ser e chaman aadit thi pehle ab majburi hai Teri talash mein chal partey hein baad e saba aur mein Jis ko dekho teri hawa mein pagal phirta hai Warna hum mashrab to nahin the khalq e khuda aur mein Eik to who hamraaz mera hai, phir tera maddah Bus tera hi zikr kia kartey hein zia aur mein Eik zamaney baad FARAZ ye sher kahey mein ne Ek muddat se miley nahin hein yaar mera aur mein         |

Us ne kaha tum ko mujh se kitna pyar hai Mein ne kaha sitaron ka bhi koi shumar hai Us ne kaha kaun sa tohfa hai man pasand Mein ne kaha wo sham jo ab tak udhaar hai Us ne kaha khizaan mein mulaqat ka jawaz Mein kaha ke qurb ka matlab bahaar hai Us ne kaha mujhe yaqeen aaye kis tarah Mein kaha ke naam mera EITBAAR hai |
