Saara aalam goshbar awaaz hai
aaj kin hathon mein dil ka saaz hai

haan zara jurrat dikha aye jazb-e-dil
husn ko pardey pe apne naaz hai

aapki makhmoor aankhon ki kasam
meri maykhwaari abhi tak raaz hai

hans diye woh mere rone par magar
unke hans dene mein bhee eik raaz hai

chhup gaye woh saaz-e-hasti chor kar
ab to bas awaaz hi awaaz hai

saari duniya jispe jhoom utthi 'Majaaz'
woh to awaaz-e-shikast-e-saaz hai
