Roz o shab ki shaakh se bicchrra hua patta hoon main
waqt bhi ab ddhoonddta hay jisko wo lamha hoon main

dil k sheeshay ttoott jaatay hain meri aawaaz se
ik shikasta saaz se ubhraa hua naghma hoon main

hum nasheenon ko kabhi aati nahi hay aanch tak
kitni tthanddi aag hay,jis main sada jalta hoon main

zindagi k shor main simttay rahe zarray mere
ik zara tanha hua to kis tarha bikkhra hoon main

rangaton ka sayl tha ya khushbuon ki leher thi
ab talak us husn main,us jheel main ddooba hoon main

in chamakti shaahraahon par kisay apna kahoon
sheher main aabaad apnon se magar tanha hoon main

SHAM yoon to ab khalaaon main hain apni manzilen
or dekhoon to isi dharti se be rishta hoon main
