dil woh beymeher key roney key bahaney mangey

hum na hotey to kisi aur key charchey hotey
khalk-e-sheher to kehney ko fasaney mangey

yehi dil tha tarasta tha marasam key liye
ab yehi tark-e-talluk key bahaney mangey

apna yeh haal key jee haar chukey lutt bhi chukey
aur muhabbat wohi andaaz puraney mangey

zindagi hum terey dagon sey rahey sharminda
aur tu hai sada aain-e-khaney mangey

dil kisi haal per maane hii nahi jaan-e-faraaz
mil gaye tum bhi to kya aur najaney mangein
