ik Khaas had pe aa gayee jab teri beruKhi
naam us kaa ham ne gardish-e-ayyaam rakh diyaa

main larkhraa rahaa hoon tujhy dekh-dekh kar
tu ne to mere saamany ik jaam rakh diyaa

kitanaa sitam-zareef hey vo saahib-e-jamaal
us ne diyaa jalaa ke lab-e-baam rakh diyaa

insaan aur dekhe baghair us ko maan le
ik Khauf kaa bashar ne Khudaa naam rakh diyaa

ab jis ke jee mein aayey wohi paaye raushani
ham ne to dil jalaa ke sar-e-aam rakh diyaa

kyaa masalahat-shanaas tha vo adami 'Qateel'
majbouriouyn kaa jis ne wafa naam rakh diyaa
