Hont pather ho gaye hain khuwakhish-e-guftar main

Main nigahain gardne main dair se masroof hoon

Ched hota he nahi hai raat ki devar main

Aik marey he msaib ka gala kat ta nahi

taiziyaan yun to bohat hain waqt ki talwar main

Aaj he kuch kum hui thi us ki yadoon ki khalish

Aaj he wo shaks mujh ko mil geya bazar main

Dil ko adat ho gai hai toot jane ki Adeem

Aab kahaan wo khoof baqi hai kisi inkaar main
