Sakoot-e-jaan ka matlab batado phir chalay jana
Ya phir sargoshian dil ki suna do phir chalay jana

Jo mera aur tumhara waqt guzra hansnay ronay may
Usay puri tarha se tum bhulado phir chalay jana

Ye saray pair poday tum bin kai raat jagay hai
Tum aakay ek baar inko sulado phir chalay jana

Kisi ko chahne ka aur kisi se chahay janay ka
Jo hai ahsaas tum usko bhulado phir chalay jana

Bus ik murda hansi se apnay ashko ko chupanay ka
Jo fun aata hai tum ko, wo sikhado phir chalay jana

Wo jo ik lafz-e-ulfat hai, juda hai apnay maani se
Bus in alfaz-o-mani ko milado phir chalay jana

Jo kehte kahte ruk gaye, un sari bato ki
Sama'at ko talab hai wo suna do phir chalay jana

Na janay q hai lakin dekhne ki tum ko aadat hai
Meri ye be-waja aadat chura do phir chalay jana ..
