Ye kab kaha tha nazaron se khof aata hay,

Mujhe to chaand sitaron se khof aata hay,


Main dushmano kay kisi war se nhi darta,

mujhe to apne hi yaaron se khof aata hay,


Khizaan ka jabr to seenay pe rok letay hain,

Humay udaas bahaaron se khof aata hay,


milay hain dosto bay_saakhion se gham itnay,

meray badan ko sahaaron se khof aata hay,


main iltifaat ki khandaq se door rehta hon,

taaluqaat ki ghaaron se khof aata hay...
