kisii dhun men tum bhii jo bastiyon ko tyaag do
isii rah-e-Khaanaa_Kharaab men mujhe dekhanaa

kisii raat maah-o-najuum se mujhe puuchhanaa
kabhii apanii chashm pur_aab men mujhe dekhanaa

isii dil se ho kar guzar gaye ka_ii kaaravaaN
kii hijraton ke zaab men mujhe dekhanaa

main na mil sakuuN bhii to kyaa huaa ke fasaanaa huuN
na_ii daastaaN naye baab men mujhe dekhanaa

mere Khaar Khaar savaal men mujhe DhuuNDhanaa
mere giit men mere Khvaab men mujhe dekhanaa

mere aaNsuon ne bujhaa_ii thii merii tashnagii
isii barg_ziidaa sahaab men mujhe dekhanaaa

vahii ik lamhaa diid thaa ke rukaa rahaa
mere roz-o-shab ke hisaab men mujhe dekhanaa

jo tarap tujhe kisii aa_iine men na mil sake
to phir aa_iine ke javaab men mujhe dekhanaa
