Tujh ko kia maloom ae-jane-jahan teray baghair,
Mera jewan katgaya aur main jea kuch bhi nahi,

Hukum hum ko mila uss kay siwa kuch mangiay,
Uthgayee dast-e-daalib per dua kuch bhi nahi,

Teri khatir umar bhar ka rat jaga ham ko qabool,
Chahatoon main aik shab ka jagna kuch bhi nahi.
