Dekhna hai wo mujh par meharban kitna hai
asliyat kahan tak hai aur goman kitna hai

kia panah deti hai aur ye zamen mujhko
aur abhi meray sar par aasmaan kitna hai

toor phoor karti hain rooz khahisahin dil main
tang in makano se ye makan kitna hai

kia uthaey pherta hai baar-e-ashiqi sar par
aur dekhnay main wo dhaan paan kitna hai

harf-e-aarzo sunkar janchnay lagay u he
es main baat kitni hai aur bayan kitna hai

pher udaas kar de ge sarsari jhalak uski
bhool kar ye dil usko shaadman kitna hai
