Chaloo zulmat ka andha safar aasan kar jain
Kisi k kaam aain apni ankhain daan kar jain

Bohat din reh liya ess Jism mein ab erada hay
Yeh ghar khali karain ess shehar ko viraan kar jain

Hum aeisey log hain jo judaii k samandar mein
Har ik sahil ko ley dobain nagar sunsaan kar jain


Yeh sehraa zindgi ha hay yahaan saaey nehi miltey
Bala ki dhoop hay yaadoon ki chattri daan kar jain

Sawaey oun sey waqt-e-raukhsat aur kia kehtey ?
Humarey khab lota doh yehi ehsaan kar jain

Mata-e-maan hum apni jaeib mein rakhtey hain SAJID
Chaloo kuch diljaloon ki kaif ka samaan kar jain
