afsurdagii-e-ishq mein soz-e-nihaan bhi ho
yaani bujhe diloon se kuch uthata dhuaan bhi ho

is darja ikhtilaat aur itani mugaayarat
tu mere aur apane kabhi daramiyaan bhi ho

ham apane Gam_gusaar-e-muhabbat na ho sake
tum to hamaare haal pe kuch mehar_baan bhi ho

bazm-e-tasavurrat mein ai dost yaad aa
is mahafil-e-nishaat mein Gam kaa samaan bhi ho

mahaboob vo ki sar se qadam tak Khuloos ho
aashiq vahi ki husn se kuch bad_gumaan bhi ho
