le uri vaqt ki aandhi jinhein apane hamraah
aaj phir Dhoondh rahi hain vahi manzar aankhein

phoot nikalein to kayie shahar-e-tamannaa Doobe
ek qatre ko tarasati hoi banjar aankhein

us ko dekhaa hai to ab shauq ka vo aalam hai
apane halakon se nikal aai hain baahar aankhein

too nigaahoon ki zubaan Khoob samajhta hoga
terii jaanib to uthaa karati hain aksar aankhein

log marate na dar-o-baam se Takraa ke kabhi
dekh lete jo 'Kamaal' us ki samandar aankhein
