Yeh dasht-e-hijr,yeh wehshat,yeh sham k saaye
Khuda yeh waqt teri aankh ko na dikhlaaye
.
.
Ussi k naam se lafzon mein chand utray hain
Woh aik shakhs k dekhoon tau aankh bhar aaye
.
.
Jo kho chukay hain unhain dhoondna tau mumkin hai
Jo ja chukay hain unhain koi kiss tarah laaye
.
.
Kali se mainay gul-o-tar jissay banaya tha
Rutain badalti hain kaisay,mujhe hi samjhaaye
.
.
Jo bay charagh gharon ko charagh deta hai
Ussay kaho k mere shehr ki taraf aaye
.
.
Yeh iztirab musalsil azaab hai Amjad
Mera nahin tau kissi aur hi ka ho jaaye...!!!
