Yoon hi tujhe bhuul ke dekhenge kisii din

Bhatake hue phirate hain kaii lafz jo dil mein
Duniyaa ne diyaa vaqt to likkhenge kisii din

Hil jaayenge ik baar to arshoon ke dar-o-baam
Ye Khaak nasheen log jo bolenge kisii din

Aapas kii kisii baat kaa miltaa hii nahin vaqt
Har baar ye kahate hain ke baithenge kisii din

Ai jaan terii yaad ke be-naam parinde
ShaaKhoon pe mere dard kii utarenge kisii din

Jaatii hai kisii jhiil kii gaharaaee kahaan tak
Aankhoon mein terii Doob ke dekhenge kisii din

Khushboo se bharii shaam mein jugnuu ke qalam se
Ik nazm tere vaaste likkhenge kisii din

Soyenge terii aankh kii Khlvat mein kisii raat
Saaye men terii zulf ke jaagenge kisii din

Khushboo kii tarah ,asl-e-sabaa Khaak numaa se
Galiyoon se tere shahar kii guzarenge kisii din

'Amjad' hai yahii ab ke kafan baandh ke sar se
Us shahar-e-sitam_gaar mein jaayenge kisii din
