tumhari nazr kiya tu haqeer lagta tha

jo merey jism ko zakhmon ke phool soump gaya

wo khushbo'on ke nagar ka safeer lagta tha

tamam umr raha jo guraiz pa mujh se

kisi k pyar ka wo bhi aseer lagta tha

na janey taan gaya kiyun rida e shab Razi

wo shahr e yar jo mah e muneer lagta tha
