Jis saimt bhi dekhun nazar aata hai ke tum ho
E jaane jahan ye koi tumsa hai ke tum ho
Ye khwab hai, khushboo hai ke jhonka hai ke pal hai
ye dundh hai badal hai ke saaya hai ke tum ho


Is deed ki saa_at me kai rang hain larzaan
Mai hoon ki koi aur hai duniya hai ke tum ho
Dekhun ye kisi aur ki ankhen hain ke meri
Dekhun ye kisi aur ka chehraa hai ke tum ho


Ye umre gurezaan kahin thehre to ye janu
Harr sans me mujhko yhi lagta hai ke tum ho
Harr bazm me mauzu-e-sukhann dil zadgaan ka
Ab kaun hai shirin hai ke laila hai ke tum ho


Ek dard kaa phaile hua sehraa hai ke mai hoon
Ek mauj me aaya hua dariyaa hai ke tum ho
Wo waqt na aaye ke dile zaar bhi soche
Is sheher me tanhaa koi humsa hai ke tum ho


Abaad hum ashiftaa saron se nahi maqtal
ye rasm bhi is sheher me zindaa hai ke tum ho
E jaane faraz itni bhi taufeeq kise thi
Humko ghame hasti bhi gawara hai ke tum ho
