Jo kabhi teri nazar sey guzar jaya kertey hain
Woh sitarey aksar toot key bikhar jaya kertey hain


Hum kisi sey muhabbatoon ka dawa to nahee kertey
Haan magar wafaoon pey hum mar jaya kertey hain


Yah mausam e hijir bhi guzarey ga kabhi
Mausam kaey ese aas main guzar jaya kertey hain


Muhabbatoon ki ehmiyet sey waqif nahee hai woh
kuch log bas inhi sey sanwar jaya kertey hain


Mashroot to nahee barishoon sey selaab hi sada
Phir teri wafa sey kiyon hum dar jaya kertey hain


Kuch log apney dukhoon ki numaish nahee kertey
Bas khamoshi sey ander hi bikhar jaya kerety hain


Woh aansoo jo palkoon ki zeenat nahee bantey
Woh chup chap sey dil main utar jaya kartay hain /eyes
