Ab k taded-e-wafa ka imkan nahi jana
yaad kia dilain tuj ko tera peman jana
youn he mousam ki ada daikh k yaad aya hay
kis kadar jald badal jatay hain insaan jana
Zindagi teri ata thee so teray naam ki
hum nay jesi bhi guzari tera ehsan jana
dil to kehta hay k sha'ad ho peshan tu bhi
dil ki kia baat karain dil to hay nadan jana
mudatoon say yahi alam raha hay dil ka
dil pukaray he chala jata hay "jana jana"
hum k bigri hui rutt ko bhi mana letay thay
hum nay na dekha tha kabhi moosm-e-hijraan jana
har koi apni he awaaz say kaanp ut'ta hay
har koi apnay he saey say hrasan jana
hosh aya to sabhi khuwaan thay raizaa raizaa
jesay urtay huey ouraaq jana
ab k tera zikr sha'ad Gazal may aey
our say our huey Dard k unwaan jana
