Dil ko khushi kay saath hota raha malal bhee

Baat woh adhi raat ki, Raat woh poury Chand ki
Chand bhee aain cheet kaa iss par tera jamal bhee

Saab say nazar bacha kay woh mujh ko kuch aaisy dekhta
Eak dafa tu rouk gai gardish Mah-o-saal bhee

Dil tu chamak saky gaa kia, Phir bhee tarash kar dekh lain
Shesha giran shahar kay Haath kaa yah kamal bhee

Uss ko naa paa sakay thy jaab dil kaa ajeeb haal tha
Aab juo palat kay dekhain, Baat thee kuch muhal bhee

Mari talab tha eak shkhas, Woh juo nhi mila tu phir
Haath dua sy yu gira, bhool gaya sawal bhee
