Ye wasaal hai ke firaaq hai dil-e-mubtilaa ko pata rahe
jo ye phool hai to khila rahe, jo ye zakhm hai to hara rahe

Tere intezaar ke silsile me meyaane dastak door kahin
ye aas hai to bandhi rahe,ye chiraagh hai to jala rahe

Yun hi bhoole bhatke jo agaye hain idhar to itni hawa na de
ki ghubaar koe malamataan koi waqeyaa to chhupa rahe

Kisi chashme waada ki lehar hai,bada dil girafta shehar hai
so hawa-e-mehrame dostaan tere silsilon ka pata rahe

Ye saraaye subha ke saath hi mujhe chhodni hai ghazale shabb
teri chashme ramzo kinaar hai,koi khwab hai to saja rahe
