Ghazal by Abdul Wasey

Aaye ho to thoDa baitho, ek raaz ki baat batate haiN
tum samjho ya na samjho phir bhi tum ko samjhate haiN

Jee kar ke naam kamana to aksar logon ko ata hai
kuchh aise log bhi hote hain jo mar kar naam kamate haiN

Pahle to pyar ki baateiN wo sharma sharma batlate they
ab haale dil ka afsana batla kar ke sharmate haiN

Pahle wo Ghusse maiN aksar ruk ruk karke chal padte they
Ab mere khayaloN mein shayad chalte chalte ruk jate haiN

Maalum nahiN dil ki dharkan seeney mein hai ya mahfil meiN
lekin ham unke jaate hi beychain bahot ho jate haiN

Koi dhundo us shaair ko jisne chand achchhe sher likhe
likhte likhte Wasey aksar khud mein hi gum ho jate haiN
