Jo kabhi teri nazar se guzar jaya kerte hain
woh sitare aksar toot ke bikhar jaya kerte hain





Hum kisi se mahobbaton ka dawa to nahi kerte
haan magar wafaon pe hum mar jaya kerte hain





Mausam ke hijir bhi ye guzare ga to kabhi
mausam ke isi aas main guzar jaya kerte hain





Mohabbaton ki ehmiat se waqif nahi hai woh
kuch log bas inhi se sawar jaya kerte hain





Mashroot to nahi barishoon se selaab hi sada
phir teri wafa se kyun hum dar jaya kerte hain





Kuch log apne dukhoon ki numaish nahi kerte
bas khamoshi se ander hi bikhar jaya keret hain





Woh aansoo jo palkoon ki zeenat nahi bante
woh chup chap se dil main utar jaya kerte hain
