Jo khayal thay na qayaas thay wohi log hum say bichar gaye Meri zindagi ki jo aas thay wohi log hum say bichar gaye Jinhain maanta hi nahin yeh dil wohi log hain meray hum safar Mujhe her tarah say jo raas thay wohi log hum say bichar gaye Mujhe umer bhar ki musafaton k azaab aur satayen gay Meri umer bhar ki jo pyaas thay wohi log hum say bichar gaye Ye khayal saaray hain aar'zi ye gulaab saaray hain kaaghzi Gul-e-aarzoo ki jo baas thay wohi log hum say bichar gaye Jinhain kar saki na qabool main wohi sharek-e-humsafar hoye Jo meri talab meri aas thay wohi log hum say bichar gaye Ye jo din raat meray sath hain wohi ajnabi ka hain ajnabi Wo jo dharkano ki asaas thay wohi log hum say bichay gaye         |
