Huwa charagh tou ghar hi jala gaya ek shaks



Tamaam rung meray aur saray khuwaab meray
Fasaana tha kay fasaana bana gaya ek shaks

Main kisi hawa mein urroon kisi faza mein lehraoon
Dukhoon kay jaal her aik soo bechaa gaya ek shaks

Palat sakoon main na aagay hii baher sakoon jis per
Mujhay ye koun se rastay laga gaya ek shaks

Muhabbatein bhi aajab uss ki nafratein bhi kamaa
Meri terha ka hi mujh mein sama gaya ek shaks

Woh mahtaab tha marhum badasth aaya tha!
Mager kuch aur sewa dil dukha gaya ek shaks

Khula yeh raaz ki aaina e khana hai duniya
