Dil ki chokhat pe jo ik deep jala rakha hai
tere lout ane ka amkhan saja rakha hai

saans tak bhi nahin layte hain tujhe sochte waqt
ham ne is kam ko bhi kal pe utha rakha hai

rooth jate ho tu kuch aur haseen lagte ho
ham ne ye soch ke hi tum ko khafa rakha hai

tum jisse rota hya chor gay thay ik din
ham ne is shaam ko seenay se laga rakha hai

chain layne nahin dayta ye kisi tor mujhay
teri yadon ne jo tofaan utha rakha hai

jane wale ne kaha tha ke wo lotay ga zaroor
ik issi aas pe darwaza khula rakha hai

tere jane se jo ik dhool uthi thi gam ki
ham ne is dhool ko ankhon main bassa rakha hai

mujh ko kal shaam se wo yaad bohat ane laga
dil ne muddat se jo ek shaks bhula rakha hai

akhri bar jo aya tha mere naam wasi
main ne us khaat ko kalaije se laga rakha hai..!!~
