kitnay din beet gayay hain daikho to sahi
kitnay chiragh bujh gaey hain daikho to sahi
mausam bahar ka phir tanha guzar gaya
khizaan ek bar phir agayee hai daikho to sahi
kitni chahat say likhta tha mai naam tumhara
wo qalam hi tordia hai zara daikho to sahi
itni asaani say to milti nahi nafrat bhi lekin
tumnay hasil shuda piyar thukradia daikho to sahi
anchal mai tum ne apnay chupaey thay moti bohat
ab k zabt tutnay say saylab ravan hai daikho to sahi
ana rokti hai mujhay har bar jhuknay say magar
kitni bar tumnay jhukaya hai daikho to sahi
faqeer ban kar teray kuchay mai akar "zohaib",
kitni aas say daikhtay hain tumhain daikho to sahi
