khamoshi mein bhi vo baatein us kii

mere chehare pe Gazal likhatii gayeen
sher kahatii hui aaNkhein us kii

shoKh lamhon kaa pataa dene lagien
tez hotii hui saaNsain us kii

aise mausam bhii guzaare ham ne
subahen jab apanii thien shaamein us kii

dhyhaan mein us ke ye aalam thaa kabhii
aaNkh mahataab kii yaadein us kii

faisalaa mauj-e-havaa ne likkhaa
aaNdhiyaaN merii bahaarein us kii

niind iss soch se tooti aksar
kis tarah kaTatii hain raatein us kii

duur rah kar bhii sadaa rehti hain
mujh ko thaame hue baahein us kii
