meiN hooN tera khayal hai aur chaand raat hai
dil dard se nidhaal hai aur chaand raat hai
aankhoN meiN chubh gaeiN teri yaadon ki kirchiyan
kandhoN pe gham ki shaal hai aur chaand raat hai
dil tor ke khmosh nazaroN ko kya mila
shabnam ka ye sawal hai aur chaand raat hai
phir titliyan si urny lageiN dasht-e-khuwaab meiN
phir khawhish-e-wisaal hai aur chaand raat hai
campus ki nehar per hai tery haath haath mein
mausam bhi lazawal hai aur chaand raat hai
har ik kali ne oRh liya matami libaas
har phool per malaal hai aur chaand raat hai
meri to por por mein khushbu si bas gaei
us per tera khayal hai aur chaand raat hai
chalka sa paR raha hai 'wasi' wehshaton ka rang
har cheez pe zawwal hai aur chaand raat hai
