dukhi rehnay ki adat ho gayi hai
magar ab gungunana chahta hoon

puranay sab taluq toor kar ab
nayi dunya basana chahta hoon

woh nazmain paoon say lipti hain lekin
main un say jaan churana chahta hoon

woh sab tohfay woh sokhay phool saray
main ab un ko jalana chahta hoon

main utna pass ati hoon tumharay
main jitna door jana chahta hoon

mairay hamdam haqeeqat hay yeh mairi
main teray pass ana chahta hoon

ubharnay ki koi khawahish nahi hay
kay main ab doob jana chahta hoon
