Woh dil ka bura, na bewafa tha
Bus,mujh say yoonhi bicharr gaya tha
Lafzoon ki hadoon say mawara tha
Aab kis say kahoon woh shakhs kaha tha?
Woh meree ghazal ka aaeina tha
Her shakhs yeh baat janta tha
Her simat ussi ka tazkara tha
Her dil main woh jaisay bus raha tha
Mein uss ki ana ka aasara tha
Woh mujh say kabhi na roothta tha
Mein dhoop k bun main jal raha tha
Woh saya-abr ban gaya tha
Mein banjh rutoon ka aashana tha
Woh mosam-e-gul ka zaiqa tha
Ek bar bicharr kay jab mila tha
Woh mujh say lipatt kay ro pada tha
Kia kuch na ussay kaha gaya tha?
Uss nay to laboon ko see liya tha
Woh chand ka hamsfer tha shayed
Ratoon ko tamam jagta tha
Hontoon main guloon ki naram khushboo
Batoon main to shehad gholta tha
Kehnay ko juda tha mujh say lekin
Woh meree ragoon main gonjata tha
Uss nay jo kaha, kiya woh dil nay
Inkar ka kis main hosala tha
Yoon dil main thi yaad uss ki jaisay
Masjid main charragh jal raha tha
Mat pooch hijab k qareenay
Woh mujh say bhi kam hee khul saka tha
Uss din mera dil bhi tha paresha'n
Woh bhi meray dil say kuch khafa tha
Mein bhi tha dara howa sa lekin
Rang uss ka bhi kuch udda udda tha
Ek khof sa hijar ki rutoon ka
Dono pay muheet ho chala tha
Ek rah say mein bhi tha gurezaa'n
Ek mod pay woh bhi ruk gaya tha
Ek pal main jhapak gaein jo aankhein
Manzer he nazer main dosara tha
Socha to theher gaey zamanay
Dekha to woh door ja chuka tha
Qadmoon say zamee'n sirak gaee thi
Soraj ka bhi rang sanwala tha
Chaltay howay log ruk gay thay
Thehra howa sheher ghoomata tha
Sehmay howay paid kanpatay thay
Patoon main heeras reengata tha
Rakhta tha mein jis main khawab apnay
Woh kanch ka ghar chatakh gaya tha
Hum donoo ka dukh tha aik jaisa
Ehsas mager juda juda tha
Kal shab woh mila tha dostoo'n ko
Kehtay hain uddas lag raha tha
Mohsin Yeh Ghazal Keh Rahi Hai
Shayed tera dil dukh howa tha ...
