zaham taza ki raazdaa’n barish


toot ker bersay tayri yaad k phool
phir howi raat nagahaa’n barish


ik naye kurb ka payasa hai wajood
ik naye khawab ka jahaa’n barish


hijer ki dhoop dilati hai yaad
payaas bherkati hai maherbaa’n barish


habs-e-jaa’n kis tarhan saharain gay
pal do pal day hamay amaa’n barish


khawahish-e-visaal esta’ara hai
bhol saktay hain hum kahan barish

jo rukay to koh-e-giraan thay hum, jo chalay to jaan se guzer gaye
rah-e-yaar hum nay qadam qadam tujhay yaadgaar bana diya
