Guzre waqt ko bhula dena asaan nahi hota
Ghamon ko hansi mein chupa lena bhi asaan nahi hota
Zaruri nahi k poori ho har khawahish lekin
Apni khawahish ko daba lena bhi asaan nahi hota
Maana ki toote howay phooloon se khushboo nahi aati
Magar unhein kitabon mein sajaa lena assan nahi hota
Koi aur tere baad aa sakta nahin qun ke
Har kisi ko dil mein jagah dena asaan nahi hota.
