ham dhiire dhiire chalte hue duur tak gaye


utran pahan ke shaah kii khush haiN musaahibiin

suuraj se bhiik maang ke zarre chamak gaye


yaaroN ne zaKhm-e-dil kaa mere yuuN kiyaa ilaaj

aaye thee Khuun poNchhne, rakh kar namak gaye


aaNkhoN ko intezaar meN parde pe TaaNk kar

chaukhaT se posTar kii tarah ham chipak gaye


vo shaaerii bhii hai ki nahiiN sochiye Kamaal

naam-e-Ghazal pe aap bohat kuchh to bak gaye
