آج پھر ھونے لگی پرپا قیامت دار پر
لِکھ دیا تھا سچ کسی نے شہر کی دیوار پر
کُچھ میرے لہجہ میں بھی وہ کاٹ پہلی سی نہ تھی
اُور پھر آگیا تھا زنگ بھی تلوار پر
ساری بستی خُود کشی کی مُرتکِب ٹہری اگر
خون کے دھبّے ہیں پھر کیوں دستِ پہرے دار پر
میں بھی شاید با ہُنر لوگوں کی صف میں آگیا 
اُنگلیاں اُٹھنے لگی ھیں اب میرے کردار پر
درد کو فریاد کے سانچے میں ڈھالوں کسطرح
ضَرب پڑتی ھے میرے ہر گوشئہ پندار پر
اُس کی محفل میں زباں کھولو تو ہم جانیں تمہیں
ناز ھے مانا کہ بلال جرآتِ گفتار پر
