zalim tha aur zulm ki aadat bhi bhut thi,

majboor thy hum us se mohabat bhi bhut thi,

uske sitam seh k dikha diya hum ne,

go apni tabiyat mein baghawat bhi bhut thi,

waqif hi na tha ramz e mohabat se wo warna,

dil k liye thori si inayat bhi bhut thi,

yun hi nahi mashoor e zamana mera qatil,

us shakhs ko iss mein maharat bhtu thi,
