ghazal ke saaz uthao barhi udas hai rat nawa-e-miir sunao,barhi udas hai rat nawa-e-dard mein ik zindgi to hoti hai nawa-e-dard sunao, barhi udas hai rat udasiyon ke jo humraz-o-humnafas the kabhi unhen n dil se bhulao, barhi udas hai rat jo ho sake to idhar ki raah bhool parho sanamqade ki hawao, barhi udas hai rat kahen n tumse to fir aor kisase kahen siyah zulf ke saayo, barhi udas hai rat abhi to zikr-e-sahar dosto hai door ki bat abhi to dekhte jao, barhi udas hai rat diye raho youn hi kuchh der hath men hath abhi n pas se jao, barhi udas hai rat samet lo ki barhe kam ki hai daulat-e-ghum ise youn hi n ganwao, barhi udas hai rat isi khandahar men kahin kuchh diye hain toote hue inhi se kam chalao, barhi udas hai rat do-aatasha n banaa de oose nawa-e-firaq ye saze-ghum n sunao, barhi udas hai rat _________________         |
