| How to Have a Beautiful Lips * The best lip color fixative? - A thin layer of Chapstick. The formula holds lip color like crazy as it heals and protects. * Powder lips also gives lip color or gloss something to cling to for longer, smoother wear. * For longer wear, blot lips after applying lipstick to set color and remove excess. | Beauty Facial At Home If you are too busy to stop at the spa for essential skin care treatment, then try these facials at home to relax your mind and body. The process of cleansing, exfoliating, steaming, and hydrating can be done with some basic steps and ingredients. Experience a variety of treatment options and products to revitalize your skin, replenish essential nutrients and to reduce the signs of skin damage and skin aging. Things you will need Facial moisturizer, facial cleanser, face masks, cotton balls, towels, large bowl of hot steamy water, face scrub and eye cream. Time required : 30- 45 minutes The Process Relax your mind: To relax the mind, lure your senses by turning off the bright lights. Light some aromatic candles in the bathroom with a soft music at the background. Cleanse your skin: Cleansers help to get rid of dirt and make up without any traces. With the help of a milk cleanser clean the skin gently in a circular motion. Apply the cleanser to your face and throat, and use upward circular motions, to all the way up to the hairline, and down to the breastbone. After a fine massage, rinse well with warm water and pat it dry. Exfoliate : Exfoliate your face with a gentle face scrub. You can use a grain-based scrub like oatmeal and apricot Concentrate on the areas around your nose and forehead. For a combination skin, work harder on the areas that are more oily. Make sure to use scrubs that don’t dry your face. Rinse it with lukewarm water. Steaming time: Steaming is essential as it opens the pores and increases circulation on the skin’s surface. Select herbs like s lavender, mint or calendula for dry skin or mint, lavender, rose and witch hazel, for oily skin or try calendula, chamomile, or comfrey for sensitve skin and boil it in a bowl of water. Pour hot steamy water in a large bowl and bring it to the place you are going to do the facial. Lean your face over the bowl about a foot away and cover your head and the bowl to preserve the steam. If you feel a burning sensation then stop for few seconds and repeat it. Keep the steam going for about 10 to 15 minutes. Tonic: As the pores are open, your skin is in ideal state for maximum absorption. So, gently massage a regenerating serum or tonic at this stage. Face masks : envelop your skin with a face masks that suits your skin to enhance the skin care treatment.To replenish the pores apply toner by misting or cotton pad. Moisturizer: smooth on a soft moisturizer according to your skin type. Apply the lotion all over the face and neck avoiding the area around the eyes. Apply an eye cream all around the eyes. | How to make a face mask? Facial Mask For Dry Skin 1) Avocado and Honey mask Ingredients needed: 2 tbs of avocado 1 egg yolk Mix mashed avocado, honey and egg together and smooth it all over your face. 2) Olive oil and egg yolk mask Ingredients: 1 tsp. olive oil 1 egg yolk Face masks help to tighten your pores, remove excess oil from the skin, or moisturize and replenish dry skin. 1 tsp. Honey Oatmeal Make a paste combining all ingredients in a small bowl and apply it to your face. The honey used in making the mask, locks in moisture from the egg and olive oil. The oatmeal soothes and softens the skin. So, cherish a glowing skin for a week. 3) Nourishing mask for dry skin Ingredients: 60g ripe avocado flesh Orange juice 1 tsp honey 1 tsp molasses 5 drops chamomile essential oil. Put all the ingredients in a blender, or mash by hand in a bowl. Add extra orange juice if the mixture is too thick. It helps in gently exfoliating your skin by gently cleansing it . Facial Mask For Oily Skin 1) Apple and Honey Mask Ingredients: 1 apple 1 tsp. honey Grate the apple, mix in the honey and apply to your face. 2) Lemon and Flour Mask Ingredients : 4 tbs. flour 4 tbs. plain/natural yogurt 1 tsp. lemon juice Mix all the ingredients together to make a paste and apply. This mask works well even to oily skin. 3) Apple and oatmeal mask Ingredients: 1/2 apple, 1 tbsp. Honey Oatmeal for paste Cook the apple until it becomes soft enough to be mashed easily. Combine all ingredients and apply to face. The oatmeal soothes irritated skin and absorbs oil. The fruit acid in the apple removes dead skin and clears the pores, and the honey contains anti-microbial properties to cleanse and rejuvenate the skin. Thats all for today folks. | Facial mask for normal skin 2) The fruity mask Ingredients: 1/4 peach 2 strawberries 1/4 cup mashed papaya 1 tsp. honey Butter is a good source of vitamin A, so it makes a perfect mask for sensitive, sunburned or damaged skin. Oatmeal- enough to form a thin paste Cook the peach. Mash all the fruit together and add oatmeal to make a paste. The fruit acids will remove dead skin and leave you with a beautiful, hydrated glow and the oatmeal helps to calms the skin. Ex foliating Mask 1)Olive and Kosher salt Ingredients : 3 tbs olive oil or any good oil 1 tbs kosher salt For an ex foliating mask, mix the ingredients well and gently rub into dry skin. Do not apply it around the eyes. This mask works well even on elbows and feet. 2) Chocolate and honey Ingredients :Butter Chocolate spread Honey Sugar Mix a teaspoon each of butter, chocolate spread, honey and sugar in a bowl and smooth onto your face. Make sure to use this mask only twice a month. Facial mask for sensitive skin Butter face mask Ingredients: 1 tbsp unsalted butter, softened 1 strawberry, mashed Or 1 inch slice of cucumber, chopped and rubbed through a sieve (for normal to dry skin) Or 1 tbsp lemon juice (for oily skin) Or 1 egg yolk (for dry skin) Mash the strawberry into fine paste. Beat the butter in a bowl, then beat in your chosen ingredient according to your skin type. Spread the mixture on the face and leave on for 10 to 15 minutes. Remove it with a wet, warm washcloth. Butter is a good source of vitamin A, so it makes a perfect mask for sensitive, sunburned or damaged skin. Facial mask for a combination skin 1)Cucumber & Yoghurt mask Ingredient: ¼ of a cucumber 1 Tbsp plain/natural yoghurt Puree the cucumber in a blender and mix it with the yoghurt. Your mask is ready. 2) Oatmeal and olive oil mask Ingredients: 1 egg 1/2 cup cooked instant oatmeal 1tsp olive oil Mix one egg and 1/2 cup cooked instant oatmeal and a teaspoon olive oil until smooth. Spread on your face and leave 15 min then rinse. For combination skin, you can also try using two different masks. Use a mask for oily skin on the T-zone and a moisturizing mask on the cheeks and neck. Facial mask for wrinkles A homemade face mask of crushed ripe bananas will help to keep wrinkles at bay.
