dil bahut kuchh jalaa ke dekh liyaa.

vah mere ho ke bhii mere na hue
un ko apanaa banaa ke dekh liyaa.

aur kyaa dekhane ko baakii hai
aap se dil lagaa ke dekh liyaa.

faiz, taqamiiil-e-Gam bhii ho na sake
ishk ko aazamaa ke dekh liyaa
