Lightbulb A poet in Vain

haha with a retarded state of mind...I come back again with something that is not me BUt...BUT...is my reflection, somewhat distorted...yet the reality!

Beggers can't be choosers and choosers ought to keep their mouth, heart and everything shut!

anyway, this is my comeback...at a very low profile.
___________

Can I give you the credit
for making me what I am?
For making me as worthless
as a wheeless tram?

Oh! I thought I'd outdone myself,
I thought I'd known it all,
How you showed me light,
to 'that' Hidden Pitfall...

Ah!But not going to repeat it,
it's a story so very often told,
it's contained in several books,
which are remarkably sold.

I've felt enough of it,
and you say you haven't enough said,
Or maybe you've made me sensitive enough,
and converted me into a poet instead?

Meticulously drilling that pain,
at tender spots of my heart,
Woah! You just had to use words,
for which people use darts!

And the oozing of those feelings,
like the oil from the ground,
Hey you helped me find 'the' Land,
that I'd never all this time found!

That Land where I could...
give words to my tears,
Give emotions the Sword,
to fight my innocent fears...

Yet the words on these crumpled pages,
dance softly under the shadow of 'that' Candle of Pain,
which once landed me in a Hidden pitfall,
but now has made me a poet in Vain.

______________

I'm ending it here because the feelings which I had gone through to be able to write this...had empowered me so badly that I couldn't write in peaceExtreme lack of inspiration and like Milton I couldn't invoke a Muse...still I tried my best.
Wa'salam peeps.

Pardon me for that long salaam...but I had posted a thread for you and some others in 'Help and Feedback' Section just yesterday

Yeah yeah yeah...everyone teases me at home ...you know Scientist and all and now you as well...but I really was missing that

My studies, Alhamdolilah the previous semester went very well and my finals just finished on the 30th...and I had 5 days off...so tomorrow I have to get back to work...remember I posted a thread regarding Resume? Well you guys helped a lot and it worked

No bunnies...has been snowing so far...so no sign of spring yet but hopefully we'll get that warm weather pretty soon InshAllah.

How's life treating you? Getting closer aren't we...to 'that' day
well THANKS for your comments and am really glad to see you here.

take care,
