Loneliness | | Loneliness
Wearing the scarf of night
Fighing away every fright
Stood alone a lass, with nothing in sight
Love could possibly save her from this plight
Love, that left her in darkness
In her eyes mustered all apprehensions
Every single fear and trepidition
Of being left alone, alone all alone
Gone are songs of life
Fled is the ray of shine
Solitude is the prospect forever
Luster lost and ahead is strife
He took me in his arms and sung amorous song
So serene, so strange was he all along
Loneliness is my destiny and thornes do throng
My life is forever and for good will I be alone
So sang the girl in black standing on the rock
Alone like a sheep deserted from her flock
Like a single solitary star, now shinning now hiding
A planet revolving around the sun doing its bidding
Oh! he left me and alone do I stand
Who ever will dare play this tune
A broken string, wretched chord
Does any one care for me on this land
Will he ever come back to me and sing?
The same old, enchanting song
And take me in his arms again
Reminding me of torrents of rain
Will loneliness ever die?
Or solitude ever will fly
Could I sing the same old song?
Just last before I go away |
