Session 2

Open the Word Document which you want to convert in to PDF, and then click on “File” menu. From file menu click on “Print” option as shown below:



Print dialogue box will appear. In this window select a printer which you have previously installed from “Name:” drop down list and put check on “Print to file” option. By default this option is unchecked. Then click on “Ok” button as shown below:



A “Print to file” dialogue box will appear which asks you to enter the name of file to save. In “File name” option enter the name for your file with extension ”.ps” but in double quotes for example “Newton.ps”. In “Save as type:” section select “All Files” from drop down list and click “Ok” button. Obviously, don’t forget to give the path where you want to save your file. See figure below:



Now go to the location where you saved your file. You will see some this type of icon of your file:



Double click on the file and your file will open in GSview (GhostScript Viewer) as shown below:


Open “File” menu and click on “Convert…” option as shown below:

An “Output Filename” dialogue box will appear. In “File name:” section enter the name for your file with “.pdf” extension but in double quotes for example “Newton.pdf”. in “Save as type:” section select “All Files” from drop down list and then click on “Save” button. Obviously once again don’t forget to give the path where you want to save your file. See figure below:



Here you go… your first PDF file is successfully created. Congratulations alotzzz. Now close GSview and then go to the location where you have saved your PDF file and try to open it by double clicking on the file icon.

Creating PDF File from HTML Document

Open your HTML file by double clicking on the file icon. By default HTML files are open in Internet Explorer. From “File” menu click on “Page Setup…” option as shown below:



“Page Setup” dialogue box will appear. In “Orientation” section which lies in left bottom corner of the dialogue box select “Landscape” option and click on “Ok” button as shown below:



Now again from “File” menu click on “Print…” option as shown below:



A “Print” dialogue box will appear. In “Select Printer” section select the printer you have installed previously from the list. Put check on “Print to file” option and click on “Print” button as shown below:



A “Print To File…” dialogue box will appear. In “File name:” section enter the file name for your file by which your file will be saved but don’t change the default extension of the file which is “.pm” by default for example UPF.pm. In “Drives:” section select the drive on which you want to save your file. In “Folders:” section select the folder in which you want to save your file. In “Save file as type:” section don’t do any changes. By default “Printer Files (*.pm)” option is selected in “Save file as type:” section. Click “Ok” button to proceed further. See figure below:



Your file is printed and ready to be converted to PDF file. Now go to the location where you have saved your file. Your file icon would be look like this:



Now open GSview application from “Start Menu” and from “File” menu click on “Open” option. “Open File” dialogue box will appear. Locate your saved file and double click the file icon to open the file in GSview. When your file is opened then from “File” menu click on “Convert” option and repeat the process to create your PDF file as we have done while creating PDF file from Word Document.

Here you go. You have successfully created your first PDF file from HTML Document. Congratulations.

save any thing as WORD from MS word and convert it to PDF from https://www.pdfonline.com/convert_pdf.asp


its totally FREE and SECURE (HTTPS + you have choice to leave your PDF created document UPloaded on web for Remote sharing OR you want to delete it after downloading
They even email you your file (if you want)

well u r ryt its really a lengthy pocess as compare to the link u gave...
but there r many other issues which r to be kept in mind n major of them is that not every body has internet connection so in this case the trick i have mentioned is successful...
