Here's a poem that I wrote regarding Romeo's feelings for his Juliet...the ultimate tragedy of forbidden love... Why are some feelings so intense, yet transient? Why does my heart leap on starry nights, when the moon is a crescent? Why do oddysies start, when they are tragedies to be meant? Why do lips move so involuntarily, saying a prayer...wishing a desire very fervent? Why did life suddenly seem so sweet when it was only her scent? Why did my body regain its warmth when a scintillating smile she sent? Why do my eyes don't shed a tear, when my heart, a painful story presents? Why did you...oh wrethched wind, blow the leaves of my heart, without my consent? Why did the leaves of my heart get stuck, in a tree of a forbidden tenant? And WHY is it that when I was going to blame it all on the wind, it stealthily WENT...                  |
