shair mairay kahaan thai kissi kay liyeah
mein nay sab kuch likha hai tumharay liyeah

apnay dukh sukh bohat khoobsourat rahay
hum jiyeah bhi tu ik dosray kay liyeah

humsafar nay maira saath choora naheen
apnay ansoo diyeah rastay kay liyeah

iss havaili mein ab koye rehtaa nahi
chand nikla kissay diakhnay kay liyeah

shehar mein aab maira koi dushman nahi
saab ko apna liya mein nay tairay liyeah

zehan mein titliyaan urr rahe hain bohat
koi dhaga nahi bandnay kay liyeah

aik tasveer ghazloon mein aaisee banee
aglay pichlay zamanay kay charay liyeah
