chaand nikale kisi jaanib teri zebai kaa
rang badle kisi surat shab'e tanhai kaa

daulat'e lab se phir ai khusrav'e shireen dahan
aaj rizaa ho koi harf shanasai kaa

deedaa'o dil ko sambhaalo ki sar'e shaam'e firaaq
saaz'o samaan baham pahunchaa hai rusvai kaa
