tairi rahoon mein barha ruk kar
hum nay apna he intazar kiya

aab na mangain gai zindagi yarub

din kuchh aise guzaarataa hai ko_ii
jaise ehasaan utaarataa hai ko_ii

aa_iinaa dekh ke tasallii hu_ii
ham ko is ghar me.n jaanataa hai ko_ii

pak gayaa hai shazar pe phal shayaad
phir se patthar uchhalataa hai ko_ii

phir nazar me.n lahuu ke chhii.nTe hai.n
tum ko shaayad mughaalataa hai ko_ii

der se guu.Njate.n hai.n sannaaTe
jaise ham ko pukaarataa hai ko_ii

terii aavaaz sunaa_ii dii haii

jis kii aa.Nkho.n me.n kaTii thii sadiyaa.N
us ne sadiyo.n kii judaa_ii dii hai

sirf ek safaah palaT kar us ne
biitii baato.n kii safaa_ii dii hai

phir vahii.n lauT ke jaanaa hogaa
yaar ne kaisii rihaa_ii dii hai

aag ne kyaa kyaa jalaayaa hai shav par
kitanii Khus-rang dikhaa_ii dii hai

aisaa to kam hii hotaa hai vo bhii ho tanahaa_ii bhii

yaado.n kii bauchhaaro.n se jab palake.n bhiigane lagatii hai.n

mujhe yahaa.N dekhakar merii ruuh Dar gaii hai
saham ke sab aarazuue.N kono.n me.n jaa chhupii hai.n
lave.n bujhaa dii hai.napane cheharo.n kii, hasarato.n ne
ki shauq pahachanataa hii nahii.n
muraade.n dahaliiz hii pe sar rakh ke mar gaii hai.n
