Dil pe tere firaaq ke sadme bhi wo nahin rahey...
Mehfil-e-shab main guftugu ab ke hoi to yeh khula...
Batein bhi wo nahin rahein lehjey bhi woh nahin rahey...
Huli'ya badal ke rakh dia jaise shab-e-firaaq ne...
Aankhain bhi wo nahin rahein chehre bhi wo nahi rahey...
