ham pare tarapaa kiye do do pahar do din talak
dard-e-dil apna sunaataa hoo'n kabhii jo ek din
rehtaa hai us naazniee'n ko dard-e-sar do din talak
dekhate hain Khvaab mein jis din kisu kii chashm-e-mast
rehate hain ham do jaha'n se beKhabar do din talak
gar yaqee'nn ho ye hamein aaye gaa tu do din ke baad
to jiyein ham aur is ummiid par do din talak
kyaa sabab kyaa vaastaa kyaa kaam thaa batalaaiye
ghar se jo nikle na apne tum "Zafar" do din talak
