Wo khushroo jab nahi hoga to yeh sab kon dekhega
Hamarey dil pe jo guzregee yarab, kon dekhegaa
Bujhee jati hain shamme dard ki ahistaa ahistaa
Kisi ke roothne ka yeh naya dhab kon dekhegaa
Ujadta jaa raha hai mausame dil ka har ik manzar
Ab is dil ki taraf kia jaaniye kab kon dekhegaa
Paraaye gham ki chakhat se lagee baithi hai tanhaai
So us ke neem rukh per ghaza-e-shab kon dekhegaa
Namoode subha ka ailaan to ker jaayega taaza
Magar ik umr kam asaar ki chhab kon dekhega
Bikharta ja raha hoon aaina dar aaina Khavar
Magar kis ke liye yeh zaaviye ab kon dekhega
